From the increasingly fashionable Toro region 240kms north west of Madrid and produced from 100% Tinta de Toro (Tempranillo). Cherry and terracotta red with violet reflections, intense aromas of black fruits and a full supple velvety flavour. An attractive style offering much interest and easy drinking.

Senorio de Nava

At the end of the Eighties a group of experienced winemakers of Castilla de Leon (“Shore of the Duero�) formed this estate from the old agricultural cooperative of San Antolín that dates from 1956, forming Bodegas Señorío de Nava, S.A. It is located in the unique Castilian Plateau between Peñafiel and Roa de Duero in the municipality of Nava de Roa. The vineyard, modelled on a French Chateau, has more than 140 hectares under vines, in excellent soils, where they cultivate a limited production of the varieties authorized in the denomination of Origin: the “Tinto Fino�, “Cabernet-Sauvignon� and “Merlot�. The major vine is “Tinto Fino� locally known as “Tinto del Pais�, that has adapted perfectly to the extreme climatic conditions of the region. Produced from 85% Tinto Fino (Tempranillo called Tinto Fino in Ribero del Duero), 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, hand picked grapes and completing the melolatic fermentation in American oak casks.
