When we first tasted this delicious rose in Dominique Rouviere's cellar, the strawberry fruit assailed us when the cork was popped. Delicate pale pink and with a very fine mousse, the flavour was deliciously fruity with straw- berries strongly present. Methode Traditionelle.

Condrieu is one of the rare great wines produced in France. The appellation is very small and it is the classic wine made from the Viognier grape, producing a hugely exotic, complex rainbow of delicious flavours. A small part of this wine was vinified in French oak barrels and then blended with wine vinified in stainless steel tanks-and what a fine marriage it is.
