Pol Roger Brut NV

Wine; ABV: 12%;

Brut Reserve is fine and elegant with a certain character thanks to the technique of cold settling. This method, which is the most natural one, makes it possible to develop the most sensitive floral aromas. The result is a Champagne of fine richness, full-bodied as a result of the Pinot Noir and smooth and light thanks to the Chardonnay. Elegant with a fine mousse. HALF BOTTLES AVAILABLE.

Pol Roger

What it Tastes Like `Fresh, floral and elegant on release, when the Meunier dominates, White Foil deepens and develops dried fruit complexity after two years when the Pinot Noir takes over.` - Decanter Magazine History Pol Roger has been trading in the U.K. through agents since the middle of the nineteenth century, and was established in 1990 as a majority-owned subsidiary of Pol Roger et Cie, of Epernay, France. Pol set up in Ay as a négociant or wholesaler at the age of seventeen, drawing initial business from his [continues...]

Pol Roger Brut Rose 1998

This rose champagne, composed of approximately 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay drawn from some 20 grands and premiers crus, captures the brilliance of the moment with harmony, freshness and sensuality. 15% of Pinot Noir from Bouzy vinified `en rouge` contributes just what is required in terms of added lustre and a hint of frivolity. Taken as a whole, the hallmarks of the 1990 vintage are: a fine structure and an appealing seductive delicacy. The colour is instantly appealing: the palate is soft, supple and spicy: the mousse ethereal: the appeal irrestible! [read on...]

One of the greatest cham available today, embodying both power and finesse, bound by great elegance.
