Domaine de Mont-Auriol, Sauvignon Blanc 07
Wine; vintage: 2007; ABV: 12%;Produced biodynamically from grapes grown on clay and limestone without herbicides, using organic fertilizer only. Pale in colour with greenish highlights. Powerful Sauvignon bouquet and flavour with bags of juicy fruit and hints of grapefruit minerality and a delicious mouth-pleasing crispness to balance.

Domaine de Mont-Auriol
The Domaine de Mont Auriol was once a royal estate Bought in March 1948 by Nicolas de Sarret who is the direct ancestor of the present owner. The vineyard covers just over 100 hectares planted along the low hills between Cap d’Agde and Beziers, facing south towards the Mediterranean which is just five miles away. The soil is a mix of stony clay and limestone. It benefits both from its southern exposure and proximity to the sea which in turn keeps it cool in summer and relatively warm in winter.
