Cuvée R Cremant de Limoux Rosé Brut 08
Wine; vintage: 2008; ABV: 12%;Organically produced from a blend of Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc and Pinot Noir The grapes are hand harvested then gently pressed using only the finest 'first run' juice. The rose is fermented in bottle using the Champagne method but left to mature sur latte for 12 months before being disgorged. Eye catching pale salmon pink rose colour and a mouthwateringly fruity rose petal bouquet with a hint of soft red fruits which follow on to the palate. Fine delicate mousse with a delicious crispness showing plenty of fruit on the farewell. Methode Traditionelle. Alc. 12%

Ch.de Villelongue Cremant de Limoux Brut 09
Made upo of 60% Chardonnay, 30% Chenin Blanc and 10% Pinot Noir grown on the favourable Coteaux de Villelongue. Pale with a delicate mousse it has a serious intense bouquet of white flowers, fruit jam, citrus and honey which follow on to the palate which is rich and complex with a rare harmony. Mautre and delicious. Ideal as an aperitif or with noble fish. Awarded 3*** in Hachette. [read on...]
