Château d'assas
The Château d’Assas was built during the decade 1750-1760, probably by Jean-Antoine Giral who was an architect from Montpellier and also designed the anatomy amphitheatre. Some features (including the ironwork balconies) came from the Château de la Mosson. The fortified surrounding wall, flanked by round towers, dates back to the late 16th century.
