Buiten Sauvignon Blanc Hussey

Wine; vintage: 2010; ABV: 13.5%;

A new addition and a real stunner. Constantia, in the Cape, is renowned for its fine Sauvignon wines and this is a gem. Pale yellow in colour and a bouquet reminscent of green peppers combined with herbaceous aromas. The flavours are obsolutely delicious - figs, Granny Smith apples, greengage, with a splash of lime. Full bodied, minerally with a long, lingering moorish farewell. Awarded Veritas Double Gold, Old Mutual overall winner.

Grape varieties: Sauvignon Blanc;

From 1866, the fortunes of Buitenverwachting were linked to those of the Louw and Lategan families. One of the most [continues...]
