Angels Tears Rose
Wine; ABV: 12.5%;Unusually this rose has been produced from a blend of 90% Chenin Blanc and 10% Pinotage. Bright pink it has a very inviting bouquet and red fruits on the flavour. Extremly quaffable. Off dry.

Grande Provence Estate
Boasting a 300-year history, this estate has passed through many hands, from its original French Huguenot owners to the most recent custodian, Count Riccardo Agusta, an Italian entrepreneur who grabbed a few newspaper headlines with his somewhat unconventional business practices. Fortunately a European consortium took over the reins in early 2004 and the new Grande Provence team has worked miracles with this gracious old property.
The entire winemaking operation, led by Jaco Marais, also underwent a facelift and an entirely fresh approach was adopted with both the Grande Provence Premium range as well as their lifestyle range; Angels Tears. In keeping with international winemaking trends, the new look estate launched its maiden vintage Premier Range in screw cap. Although already a firm favourite on the local and international markets, the Angels Tears White, Pink and Red are due to undergo a label make-over reflecting the sophisticated new image which pervades the entire

Angels Tears Red
Chosen by John Platter in his platter wine book as the most quaffable good value red in South Africa. Made from 75% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Sauvignon.
